Green consultant? 10 points!?
What degrees would be necessary in order to work as a green consultant?
Meaning somebody who advises businesses and people on what changes, and products they can use to build, or make their business or home more eco-friendly.
I’m planning on getting a business degree, and possibly a degree in environmental conservation
Zero requirements. That is what makes consultants so dangerous.
If you really wish to go into consulting, you need to target your market.
There are the technical greening consulting – like engineering, construction (architects and contractors),
Or you can go into financial consulting, by evaluating the cost benefits of green initiatives,
and then there’s the “holistic” consulting (although that’s considered less credible than the technical fields and thus less profitable).
You can also go into marketing consulting and specialize in green messages through the media.
Just focus a bit more and you may find your calling.
Good luck!
